Great Lakes Green Events Plants Trees with EGLE and City of Lansing

Lansing has new trees thanks to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and Great Lakes Green Events. On May 15, EGLE Director Phil Roos joined volunteers from EGLE’s MI Healthy Climate Conference to plant trees in downtown Lansing that will store carbon, clean the air, and provide shade on hot days for years to come.
